DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - IT BREAKS WAY TO EASY!!

Comment:
Gas Valves are meant to be tight, and this "cast metal" tool breaks like it's peanut brittle. I would hate to have depended on it for an EMERGENCY.....!!!!

Comment:
This is a terrible product. It is "metal" but cheap pot metal, with little or no strength. Mine broke immediately the first time I tried to use it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Comment:
This tool broke immediately and did not move the gas valve a inch! It is a cheap badly made product that is a HUGE DANGER in case of a real emergency.
DO not buy it! Pass it on! And get prepared!
I am scared of what we would be in for if there were a big disaster in LA. The local Home Depot sells this item and does not even know what they are doing to people.

Comment:
Got the tool in the mail; tried to use it to shut off my gas as a test. The entire "GAS" end of the tool immediately cracked in half before the gas shutoff valve even budged. This tool claims to have a "strong metal build", but even if it's made of metal of *some* sort, it is most certainly NOT quality steel nor any other metal even remotely suitable for this application. (The "metal" at the break has the rough texture of cement and isn't even cool to the touch. My wife, a mechanical engineer, is guessing that it's poorly cast aluminum.) I'm just glad I tested this piece of junk before trying to use it in an actual emergency.

Bigger than I thought

Comment:
I thought this was going to be the size of those little car-escape hammers. But I should have checked the dimensions!
Works as promised. Would have been nice if they put a hole in the handle, down by the star wrench, so I could attach it with a cable to something. I could do that through the gas shutoff wrench, but I didn't want any cable interfering with that function.
