Maquina ligera con muy buena potencia
|
Comment:
Comment:
Brand new out of the box it won't stay running unless on choke. Won't accelerate at all, just dies out. Figured the problem is the carb is too lean, but the screw heads are a special type so you can't adjust it. The manual says not to use any gas containing additives...that makes it useless in this state. It's really lightly built. Running full speed (choke on to get up to speed) it stalls when any type of vegetation is encountered. Returning for my money back.

Great Little Trimmer
|
Comment:
I got this trimmer for our summer cabin. It started up right out of the box and worked great. It has enough power to handle larger weeds. The line fed out smoothly. I would recommend this as a cost effective choice for a weed wacker.

Wont stay running
|
Comment:
It arrived with a broken air cleaner cover. I repaired the air cleaner with epoxy. After the epoxy cured I
found that the trimmer would not idle properly and basically not stay running. Amazon will not accept returns
with this kind of tool. I took it to a local Poulan dealer and tuned it up in 5 minuets, seems to
be running normal now. If you have tuned weed trimmers in the past you will need a special tool,
the Government doesn't want you tuning these things for emission reasons.
I had a B&D battery operated 18 v for years with no headaches,
the batteries finely too weak to due the whole yard.
Next time I'll get a environment friendly battery powered weed trimmer.

Not very impressed- don't waste your money
|
Comment:
The unit runs at a pretty high speed while at idle. The trimmer spins really fast even when you are not holding the trigger down. The unit died about 10 times while I was trimming my yard. If this did not have a tank full of gas, I'd send it back today. Packaging was okay and they are nice enough to enclose 4 oz. of oil- just right for one gallon of gas. You get what you pay for, I should have selected a more expensive trimmer.
Update: Almost two weeks later and the thing keeps stopping. I can't keep it running and it is very hard to start. Don't waste your money.
