This sturdy trailing spreader is especially well made and durable. The control lever locks into place, allowing for even distribution, and it's also easy to adjust, letting you adapt your spread for different products, land needs, and trailer speeds (since the faster the pace, the thinner the coverage). The assembly instructions are fairly clear, with both text and illustrations; assembly of the 27 parts, however, takes a good half-hour. The wing nuts make tools unnecessary for assembly and also allow for easy maintenance and periodic tightening. There's a chart specifying spreader settings and broadcast for fertilizer, insecticide, and various grass seeds, and a limited 90-day warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
