I am on my second blower/vac now. The first died after six years, but I was so happy with the performance of this device that I got another one. The worst part is emptying the full bag. The leaves are packed so tight that it takes a little while to empty it. You have to unzip the bag and shake it hard(or pull some of them by hand in order for the leaves to come out),even though the bag has a large zipper. That's my only complain.
Comment:
This unit works great, the vaccum has lots of power and the blower will blow everything away. Glad we bought it, we really needed it.

Comment:
This product is not perfect, but it is tough! I have had one for more than ten years and I have worked it hard around a Connecticut forest-edge home which also means that I vacuum up a lot of rocks, wood chips and cones. After years of hard work the motor bearings have just started to go but I will say that I got my money's worth many times over. I bought other blowers for a clubhouse and had problems with breakage. Only two complaints. 1) If you accidentally release the head while the impeller is still turning, you are exposed to it - there is no emergency brake. But I have not seen other products with a brake either. 2) the exit port is easy to clog when picking up wet leaves and in New England, they often are wet! But I can live with both of those issues. I highly recommend this product. I am buying my second unit now. There was no question in my mind about sticking with this brand and this model.

Comment:
The second time I used it the product quit. I called B&D and they replaced it with a new product. I noticed on the one you sent that it was marked 2007, the one B&D sent was marked 2010. I will not buy anything from you that is mechanical.
